Some People DESERVE A Good Punch In the Kisser

I’m in a bit of a poopy-doody mood (that’s a medical term), so I’m kinda phoning it in today, but that’s ok…… I can’t be at my best EVERYDAY, now can I?

Anyway, this video started hitting the interwebs last week. Some guy on the Metro North NYC railroad took some cell phone video of this uber-witch who decided it would be no problem to have a 30 minute phone call with her friend while on the train, yelling, cursing, and generally being WAY too fucking loud the entire time.

That is, until one of the conductors came over and asked her politely to please quiet down. THAT’S when our “lady of the hour” decided to get all huffy and to stand up and proudly proclaim “Do you know how educated I am????”

Check out the video from THIS link. Apologies for not being able to directly embed it, but it looks like the chick is suing the railroad so Youtube, at her request, took all copies of the video down.

Anyway, as you can see in the video, the argument escalates until the offending moron is thrown off the train.

I guess the reason why this video strikes a particularly nasty chord with me is because EVERY damn time I have to take the Long Island Railroad into New York City for business, there is some asshat JUST LIKE THIS sitting right next to me, cackling away loudly while the rest of the car is trying to sleep, not caring one fucking bit that she is annoying the SHIT out of everyone around her.

Because she’s better educated than the rest of us, see?

Now that I’m looking at it from HER point of view, it makes perfect sense….

Seriously, there are mornings on that train that I want to reach out and KILL the offending person making all the racket. Kudos to the conductor for keeping her cool….

…. And for keeping a sense of humor about the whole thing. After they booted the bitch off the train, the conductor got onto the loudspeaker and announced that everyone is to speak softly and not use profanity on the train, "especially those people who went to Harvard or Yale or are from Westport."

Well done.

The lady across the street from me does this same thing - not to mention every time I'm in the store- any store - anywhere. There's ALWAYS some stupid mofo who thinks they're in the privacy of their own homes, or something. Who talks that fucking loud, anyway?
I'm in a shit mood today, too. If you can't tell. :)

Oh I do try to stay away from generalizations ... but I work in an office environment with the cubby style seating and a shared kitchen.

There are those here with mulitple degrees, those with only HS Diplomas, and everything in between.

Without fail - those with the most education under their belts are the most frequent offenders rudeness. Loud phone calls out in the studio, dirty dishes in the sink, never help with recycle duty, late to all meetings, etc.

I dont' know why educated seems to equal self importanat and oblivious to others.

sybil: YOU, in a bad mood? i'd never believe that for a minute...

anna: i agree. those are also the same people who seem to think how much money they make makes them a better person, too...

I never read the funny shit you write down there.

Um. I may be an offender. Because my volume inexplicably goes up when I'm on the phone. BUT I hate being on the phone- so I'll never be on one on the phone on a train.

She says really dumb shit for someone who is educated on her way to her parents house.

Street smart FTW!

They should have just zapped her with a stun gun first. Then it would have been a funny video of her spazzing out on the floor.

you can't act like an ass anymore, someone will catch you on there phone. that sucks. just ask anthony wiener. Back in the day they would have pushed here off train without waiting for the next stop.

Its one of those cases where you want to laugh at what an ass she is making of herself...laugh Loudly...

Earl: me either...

paula: if you arent doing it on the train, with me trying to sleep next to you, then we're good.

mark: don't taze me, bro!

abes: im proud to say that no one has ever caught me on their cellphone acting like an ass. yet.

And that's why I don't take public transportation.

Gah! Oh my word that's annoying:/ While i don't ride on trains that much, i can share the irritation of people being loud and annoying on their phones in a small enclosed space.... I say next time someone does that to you, you high five their face:)

I'm pretty well educated so does this mean I can act horribly too? I didn't realize that education excuses people from manners. Good to know.

This reminds me of a lady at my doctors office yesterday. There was a huge line to register and she was on her phone at the front of the line and held up the line while she finished her conversation until finally the next person just walked around her. Of course she was offended and got all pissy but seriously? How can people act like that? Yuck!

If you want to punch her in the mouth, I'll happily stand by you and clap. :)

I do. You and Earl are the best 'taggers' out there. And that's not a euphemism for any homosexualism.

Once I was treated to someone's phone conversation as she stood on the outdoor apartment stairwell right outside of my open window and described the quality of her puke that morning. After I hollered at her to shut the fuck up, she never did it again. Some people can apparently be shamed into more acceptable behavior. Then again, some can't. I hate assholes who have a grandiose sense of entitlement.

meleah: lucky girl...

ruby: agreed (with a 2 by 4)

radio: yes, the more educated you are, the shittier you can act towards people, apparently!

marlene: clap loudly.

badger: thanks badger (any homosexualism that might be going on is purely coincidental)

malka: agreed.. the only way some people will stop their reprehensible behavior is to shame them into it.

I totally read the labels humor. keep it up. And, I like to be an asshole in public, it's almost like being an actress.

I don't know how you hold your tongue. Especially in the mornings I hate hearing people on the phone.

I like Annabelle, work in an office with cubbies and shared space. Work with mostly self centered salesmen...I daily feel the urge to punch them in their teeth.

Oh come on, you KNOW you want to go see Green Lantern so you can see RR in his whitie tighties!
But seriously you prob won't like it and will think it's the cheesiest shit ever!

poopy doody??? funneeeee

both my Ma & my sis do the same thing. The are both deaf I swear & shout down any phone they are on regardless of their location without thinking about the fact that nobody else would like to hear their conversation.

Perhaps you need some ear plugs.......

Slyde said...

happy: lol! ok you sold me.. i'll keep doing 'em..

mistakenly: honestly, i DO kinda want to see it, but i'll probably just wait for it on Netlix

alley: ear plugs might do it...

The thing I can't help wondering is how she's going to get to work from now on. I mean she said she takes the train to and from work. Does one just get back on the train as if nothing has happened? And more importantly, if she does is she quiet?

She is living proof that even educated people can be stupid and disrespectful.
Seriously, what an idiot.

Well, I'll be damned if I can see the video, but my experience is pretty much the same. These folks are all over the bus system here in Phoenix. This folks can't afford a beat up jallopy, but they can obviously afford an unlimited minute plan to jabber all day long to their momma or boyfriend.

I assume they are so loud, because they are basically entitlement babies that expect the world on a silver platter and when they don't get what they want, screaming always worked for them in the past. So much for being educated.
