I’ve Been Naughty

No, not THAT kind of naughty.

I’ve just been very preoccupied with some things since last week, so I haven’t had time to visit ANY of your awesome blogs.

I just checked in my feed reader, and there was a LOT of posts to be read. A LOT.

I can’t read them all.

So, what to do?

I think I’m going to just pretend that the last week didn’t happen, delete them all, and call a re-do to the whole damn thing.

Please don’t hate me for that. I feel like ass doing it, but there’s just no way I can ever hope to keep up at this point. I promise to make it up to each and every one of you with some deep, wet, sloppy kisses at the earliest opportunity, ok?

Anyway, what I have I been up to?

- Saturday I took Mini-Me to see Where The Wild Things Are in IMAX. He freaking loved it. However, the prices for IMAX are ridiculous. $29 for 1 adult and 1 child? That is highway robbery!

- Speaking of Mini-Me, he is currently enthralled in the Bakugan craze. He wants to play it with me CONSTANTLY. But since he cant really read the cards yet, we mostly just shoot Bakugan at each other until he makes up a rule that lets him win. I don't think thats very fair.

- I finally managed to stop looking at my pretty face in the mirror long enough to finally begin a project that I have been wanting to do (and dreading) for about 20 years now. Namely, cataloging my old comic book collection on a computer so I can figure out FINALLY how much it’s worth. Honestly, this is where almost ALL of my spare blog-reading time has been going. Right now I am about 1/6 of the way through it all, and my collection is standing proudly at $6,000! Is that insane, or what? How I managed to collect all these books as a kid, AND still be the biggest chick magnet ever to walk the earth, really is beyond me.

My condolences on having to 'mark as read' so many blog entries! I have had to do the same on ocassion... it hurts!
You better stop by my blog TOMORROW cos it's me birthday! You can wish me a big sloppy kiss.... NICE.
I'll make sure Stew gives it to me OK? ha ha ha
Comic books! What do you plan on doing with them all? Keep them or sell them?

WTF???? Okay, when I get behind, I just read the lastest one or two posts from people. I mean, last week I had 172 posts to read and I am down to five, and that is including NEW posts from the past four days. Surely to God you don't have to delete ALL posts, right?

Did you know it breast cancer awareness month and you haven't mentioned it? No options on early detection, like you know, offering your services to help or anything like.

I'm highly dissapointed. Step away from the comics, and start volunteering!

You lazy, lazy sod. I mean I understand. I miss you though...

I usually just try and read the last 1 or 2 posts. I'm on blogging hiatus right now due to some IRL drama so the blog is shut down at the moment. I'll be back up and running soon tho.

That is a lot of comic books. The Boyfriend supposedly has quite a large collection as well at his parents house. They can stay there too I don't need any more clutter!

Can't wait to see Where the Wild Things Are!

I'd rather have you spend time with your mini-me than reading my blog.

Admit it...all your free time has gone toward tickling your foot fetish fancy. Hasn't it?

See what I did there. Tickle. Foot. I'm so clever.

I often have to do the same thing, though my *mark all* as read typically goes to things like news blogs. I don't really have that many blogs that I read that are done by real peeps, like you. Wish I read more from real peeps. I probably should find some.

So... that said. I forgive you.

How was the movie, btw?

Hmmm, your loss, I have written the BEST BLOGS OF MY LIFE over the past 3 weeks....only problem is, they are all still in my head, nothing has been typed yet......so you are one lucky SOB.

...speaking of which I need to update my laserdisc collection, I have about another 20 titles to add...it has to be worth at least $1,000!!!

I am glad to hear people have lives and live them as opposed to reading blogs all day. I "mark all as read" pretty frequently anymore. If I didn't, I'd go batty!!!
So I heard "Where the Wild Things Are" is NOT for kids. But yours liked it. Hmmm...

My son loves his Bakugans...sad thing is, is that he has no idea there is actually a show associated with them! This is my trump card, and I am waiting to use it at some point...

I have no idea what Bakugan is (clearly not a parent yet). But I forgive you. I could never stay cross with you, Slyde (you live too far away so I can't make you feel guilty in person, thereby taking the fun out of it).

only because it comes up so often..I need to know, does earl share in your crazy foot fetish? ya know a foot is a foot.

B.E. Earl said...

@2abes - No...I'm not a fan of the foot. That's Slyde's gig alone. I only bring it up because he has tried to deflect his fetish toward me so many times over the years. It's really quite juvenile. On both of our parts. ;)

"Mark As Read" is the life equivalent of deciding to just stay in bed today. I wholeheartedly support that kind of move. No worries! (Besides, I wrote an embarrassingly stupid post this week, so one less person reading it is an upside for me).

BTW, that last line on your post? Hahahaha. The cat lad

Faiqa said...

crap... I was going to say "the cat lady next door does not count as a chick."

It's hard sometimes keeping up with everyone's blog and leaving comments. I try my best.

Where the Wild Things Are was good, but not remortgage my house to see it in Imax, good. Welcome back.

(sniff, sniff) I was beaten out by comic books...I'm not sure how to take that. :-) :-) :-)
